In May and June of 1996, I rode my Harley-Davidson across America and back.
 Six weeks on the road.

My friend Bob Wagner in Massachusetts has a Harley, too. His son Michael also rides. When I learned this, we planned a ride to Maine for the weekend. My former associates from Millipore Corporation, Larry and Marcie Smith, now Downeast entrepreneurs, met us for dinner and put us up at their B&B in Ogunquit. It was great to see them after 17 years!
Bob and Michael rode from Colorado Springs to California in July, 1997, with Michael's friend Bill. I joined them on the road for a few days. We rode from Reno to Monterey, Big Sur, San Simeon, and San Luis Obispo, then up the coast to San Francisco.
